Senior System Analyst Programmer/ Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pensions Systems Analyst with programming skills to join this friendly, highly successful consultancy.

You will be writing SQL statements and developing required data conversion routines. Planning how work is to be carried out to meet targets. Mapping data feeds into the administration system, which will include the use of SQL to interrogate, understand and document the required data to map. You will be responsible for performing coding or system configuration to written technical specifications, initially specialising in the development of; Workflows, Data reports, Document Production and Interfaces.

You will work on allocated tasks for the annual event projects, for example; Benefit statements, Pension Increase, LTA notifications; assisting the Project Manager in planning these projects and ensuring that these projects are delivered in line with operational targets.

SQL knowledge is essential for this role alongside some knowledge of occupational pensions.

To be considered for this excellent opportunity you will be able to configure pension calculations using Excel and have strong Microsoft Office skills including previous experience of working with Mail Merge. Some experience with one or all of the following: VB.net, VBA, XML, Xpath, XSLT, HTML, JavaScript is required along with strong data analysis and data profiling skills, using MS SQL Server/
