About Us

Abenefit2u was established in 2008 with the aim to create a specialist recruitment service to a specialist industry. We offer recruitment solutions to the Pensions, Employee Benefits and Reward sector. Our clients include In-house Benefit Departments, Consultancies, Third Party Administrators and Pensions & Benefit Providers.  These vary from small to medium organisations with a requirement once every 5-10 years through to FTSE 250 companies & other blue chip organisations with new requirements throughout the year.

We can assist with ‘one-off’ recruitment needs or ongoing staff requirements, on a permanent, contract, temporary, full/part/flexitime basis, including job share & home working. Abenefit2u recruits from trainee administration level upward through to executive management, providing both contingency and executive search services.

We offer solutions to match your requirements, whether you are a FTSE 100 or a SME, an in-house pensions department seeking quality staff or a consultancy/provider keen to grow and manage their clients needs.

I specialise in recruiting Occupational Pensions and Benefit Professionals based in-house (with in-house or outsourced arrangements) With specialist recruitment experience spanning over two decades I have an established reputation for providing a highly professional recruitment service within this sector. I did (pre Coronavirus 2020) attend various industry seminars, conferences & exhibitions, have published numerous articles & I am regularly called upon to provide advice and quotes to various pensions publications on topical recruitment issues. I am an MREC qualified, award-winning consultant with a reputed track record for successfully managing & completing major client campaigns, as well as filling ‘one-off’ individual key industry appointments.

My total placements by now is easily in excess of 500, which is a lovely thought, to have helped so many people advance their career and progress, changing people's lives for the better. As time ticks on some are the juniors I once placed, are now Pensions Managers, as I place them for a second time. The excitement of making an offer and hearing someone react with sheer delight never fades, and is one of the best parts of the job. I count myself very blessed to have chosen Recruitment as a career and Pensions and Benefits as the sector, where people are always lovely to work with and assist on both sides of the recruitment coin.

A very wise person once told me happiness is how you decide to feel each day, and I have kept this as my mantra going forward. I love my job and always look forward to work, helping change lives for the better for candidates and clients.

I work within the Consultancy, Provider and Third Party Administrator area of the Business. I focus mainly within the administration and IT sector; matching the right person to the right job. I joined Abenefit2u in 2011, coming from an HR/Management background my experiences of Recruitment Agencies had always been as a Client. I use these experiences (some good, some very bad) to endeavour to improve and develop the services we offer.

Much to the bewilderment of my children in my ‘previous life’ I was a contemporary ballet dancer, spending many years performing modern repertoire across the globe. This world was as far away from Pensions and recruitment as one could possibly get but is a constant reminder to me that a career can take many paths and no goals should be discounted or aspirations ignored. I am now fully retired from the world of Theatre. Much of my ‘free time’ is spent standing in the pouring rain on the side-lines of a football / rugby / netball match....or debating why homework is more important than ‘Youtube’. I now dance ‘like a mum’ which is of course marginally better than dancing ‘like a dad’...

Specialising in recruiting at all levels for pensions and employee benefits consultancies, providers as well as third party pension administrators. Prior to joining Abenefit2u I spent over 21 years ‘on the other side of the fence’ working in the administration and consulting pensions industry performing many of the roles that I now recruit for. These included administration, team management, consulting, new business, trustee secretarial and governance, as well as building relationships with pensions & HR managers, directors and trustee boards. This experience provides a valuable benefit and insight into the needs of both the client, as far as their business requirements for new hires; and candidates, in being able to relate to their experiences and helping to ensure the right role is found to match their skills and ambitions.

Outside of work my time revolves around my family; music (whether it’s off to gigs when able to or just having the volume up to levels usually reserved for teenage ears!) and watching sport/football (sadly long since retired from playing). I do try to keep fit with regular running & cycling. Tinkering with our classic mini and attempting to replicate in some way the style and look of those mini's in "The Italian Job" is also a project I am working on with my son who is very much the petrolhead!

I have worked within the recruitment industry for more than twenty years, all of those with Dianne, the last eleven of which have been at Abenefit2u working with a lovely team of the nicest people, and it's people that make a business. I can honestly say that you would have to go a long way to find a 'nicer' recruiter firm to help you when you need assistance.

My own role is that of PA/Administration Manager, though I'm just really a member of the 'team', and as the years have gone by my duties/tasks have changed in line with the ever-changing technology and communication methods used. Abenefit2u afforded me the opportunity to work from home when I joined the company, which was ideal for me personally back then and continues to suit me now as I provide the administration support needed by my colleagues whilst at the same time being able to view the sea from my office window and go for a stroll along the beach during my lunch break, what more could one ask for.
