Our client titles this role Senior Pensions Administrator but this role does require strong technical knowledge, as part of your role will be responsibility for providing technical support to the pensions administration team to deliver excellent colleague experience and ensuring all SLA's and compliance measures are achieved for calculation and discretion tasks. You will help maintain compliance and minimise escalations and complaints; check colleague communications from a pension technical and legislative perspective; keep up to date with current statutory regulations, and carry out training with the team, including supporting the team in PMI examinations.

As a Senior Pensions Administrator you will complete and/or review complex member calculations, complete complex ill-health and death discretion cases, making recommendations on benefit payments. You will also complete calculations and manage correspondence for High Earners including legislative controls for Protection, Annual Allowance, and Life Time Allowance. You will own implementation of cyclical activities and notifiable events such as; 1/4ly HMRC reports, Event Reports, etc., provide support and testing for systems development and other ad hoc projects.
