As the NEW permanent In-house Head of Operations you will be responsible for the overall operation of the pension administration team for this major household name, and UK service provider. You will own the Service Management operations including day-to–day Administration, Projects, Finance and Data Services, covering approximately 70 – 100 employees. You will report into the Head of Pensions Administration.
In this major role you will be responsible for driving engagement and capability of your teams to deliver a strong service performance, as well as monitoring capacity and operational processes.
You will already have proven management experience in the pension's industry with a particular focus on creating a high performance work environment with a focus on excellent client experience and effective use of technology.
You will need DB Pension Schemes knowledge and operational experience, hopefully also including Quality Assurance programmes and their delivery. Your knowledge will also include pension and regulatory matters. You will be able to lead a dispersed portfolio of change initiatives and projects, both strategic in nature and tactical, create and manage budgeting, cost management and forecasting, and you will understand the key financial drivers and dynamics of a business.
