You will be a Pensions Systems and data specialist seeking an exciting new career move. Perhaps from a consultancy to an in-house scheme? Or like for like but moving to a fresh award-winning organisation in a dynamic in-house environment? If yes, our client has an exciting role with your name on! You will be directly reporting to the Data Systems Manager, who has recently joined the organisation, so together you can make real change for the better…

Your core function will be to ensure a comprehensive specialist pension's systems/data service is provided to the Pensions Management Team. You will provide operational support, including deputising in the absence of the Data Systems Manager, ensuring performance targets and deadlines are met. You will ensure the provision of a high quality pension's service that meets service standards and complies with statutory regulations. You will be on hand to provide specialist advice and system support on pension fund data issues and at the same time support the development and embedding of relevant policies, systems and procedures in conjunction with the organisation policy and procedures and to ensure compliance with them.

You will deal with more complex data/system queries and take a senior role within the team and offer guidance and support to less experienced members of the team. You will proactively seek out service and data flow efficiencies, identifying improvements and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You will ensure the effective administration of the pension's admin and payroll systems, devising and maintaining manual and computerised records and information systems, and play an important role in helping promote the organisation's ‘Digital First’ policy and facilitate member access and continuous improvement to Member Self Service, and maintain additional site content.

As roles in pensions data are far more niche than some other types of roles in pensions, much as our client would love to have you on site for 2 days per week for team camaraderie, given the nature of this role, there is some flexibility on location, so if you can only infrequently visit the office please still inquire, and depending on other applications, and your ideal fit, our client is flexible and would not wish to lose the ideal applicant because they cannot travel on site every week.

Finally, if this role is just a bit too senior for you, our client does have a new more junior role coming up in the near future, so please do let me, Dianne Beer, know about your interest in this instead. I look forward to hearing from you…
