A rare and interesting job opportunity working on the governance, administration and management of large DC (Master Trust) and DB pension schemes.
Working closely with the Pension & Governance Lead you will maintain strong governance and management of the Schemes ensuring all governance documentation is in line with regulatory requirements. You will help with agenda setting, including reviewing and or drafting Board/Committee papers. Collaborate with all business colleagues/departments and closely with the Regulatory Assurance, Internal Audit, Risk and Business Administration teams, ensuring all governance plans and work plans are kept up to date.
This is a really broad and exciting, newly created role that requires up-to-date knowledge of pension's regulatory and legislative environment relating to both Master Trusts and Defined Benefit Schemes. You must have strong all-round pension's experience particularly in defined contribution schemes. You will be a technical expert with excellent knowledge of all types of pension regulation and exceptional understanding of occupational pension schemes with the ability to interpret, understand, and challenge regulation and legal aspects which relate to pension schemes.
We are looking for someone with good experience of building relationships with, influencing and advising, senior Trustee board and committee members. Experience of working on a large Master Trust would be highly beneficial.
