Our client has an exciting opportunity for you to join their small in-house pension's team to ensure that their award-winning pension schemes continue to operate effectively, working at home with the proviso you pop into the office 1-2 times per month only. This role could suit an individual from an in-house, administration or consultancy pension's background.
Our client operates a large defined benefit/defined contribution scheme with over 15,000 members and £1.5 billion of assets under management, as well as one smaller legacy scheme, and with lots going on, this opportunity would suit someone capable of working on multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
You will have some knowledge of defined benefit and defined contribution schemes, as well as being able to demonstrate a wider understanding of the pension's industry. If you have these skills, with good attention to detail and the ability to communicate at all levels then this could be the role for you! You will be comfortable using Excel, Microsoft Word to merge documents and will possess excellent attention to detail.
Supporting the Pension area, your days will come with lots of variety as you oversee the day-to-day management of the pension schemes internally or through third party providers, supporting the pension scheme governance and communications, as well as assisting with pension scheme secretariat support to the Trustees.
You’ll be seen as a subject matter expert internally and, with the opportunity to experience all aspects of running a large complex pension scheme, this would be a great progressive move for the right person. You will be someone who enjoys new challenges, taking ownership of your role, yet working well as part of a team.
