An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client's in-house Technical Team. Key aspects to the role include assisting in the provision of specialist pension services and pension's expertise to the Trustee, employers and internal departments, in the areas of governance, compliance, legislation, funding and policy. The role also includes working with external key advisers to the Trustee, including the actuarial, covenant and legal advisers. You will be investigating technical pension's matters, proposing solutions to issues, getting approvals where change is required and providing instructions within the business on implementing changes.
To be considered you must have good occupational pension administration experience with the ability to progress work activities using initiative and judgement. You will have expert knowledge of pension legislation, regulations, and of The Pensions Regulator. You must have the ability to interpret complex documents (i.e., Rules/legislation) and understand how they apply in practice.
