Are you a Pensions Change Solution Manager seeking to join the Pensions Strategy and Change team within a major name in retail, and their large in-house Pensions Team. Across the whole pensions team our client has incredibly ambitious, exciting and innovative plans and they are looking for experienced Pension's professionals to join the team to help them achieve these, with one key hire being you, the new Change Solution Manager.
You will be responsible for overseeing the solution design for the change work undertaken by the team. You will have line management responsibility for the Change Analysts and Test Analysts within the Strategy and Change Team, including periodic performance reviews. You will work closely with experienced colleagues within the pension's team and external advisers and providers to make sure the optimal solutions are being delivered.
You will: Review project requirements liaising with various colleagues across the team to identify solution possibilities, limitations and key criteria for successful delivery, and challenge solution design with stakeholders to maximise alignment with strategy. Maintain knowledge of system architecture, IT infrastructure and operational processes to enable full and accurate assessment of proposed solutions. Peer review testing strategy and test packs, developing out testing governance to provide an auditable trail. Monitor handover from Strategy and Change into UAT, developing out a formalised process to optimise this interaction, enabling the sharing of key test skills while retaining independence between system testing and UAT. Participate on planning negotiations with system supplier to obtain optimal development plan, allowing for resource requirements on both sides and interdependencies of builds. Work with other members of the Strategy and Change team to adopt standard change methodology and project life-cycle deliverables.
You will be an experienced line manager and have carried out periodic performance reviews, you will thrive in a collaborative team environment, helping to meet common goals and objectives, and be an excellent communicator across all levels of stakeholders. With a thorough understanding of the UK DB and DC legal, regulatory and taxation framework, you will also have practical in-depth experience of DB and DC pension's administration.
To undertake this role you will have significant business analysis experience with a track record of delivering complex pension projects across people, process and systems, and be experienced in leading scope definition, development and testing of calculations, workflows and automated document production in a pension's environment.
