Employee Benefits & Pensions Administrator, In-house Schemes

Your new role will have responsibilities for administering the company's benefit programmes, from Pension Scheme, Healthcare schemes, Company funded healthcare – BUPA, Voluntary healthcare – PHC, Cash plan (BUPA), Risk Benefits, Life Assurance, Income Protection, to Retail discount scheme, Cycle to Work Scheme, etc.

This is a diverse and interesting role, where you will get to implement administration procedures to implement new benefits, support company sales, M&A and disposal activity through the provision and analysis of benefits related information and by managing the benefits administration for staff joining or leaving the business. You will be the subject matter expert, coaching colleagues to answer basic benefits queries, and answering more complex queries from employees and colleagues. You will also manage benefits communications, hopefully something you will enjoy and relish.

You will be comfortable dealing with twice-yearly pension contribution change window for employees, monthly auto-enrolment and Triennial re-auto enrolment process, giving support for annual healthcare renewal, doing monthly reconciliation of healthcare membership and monthly reconciliation of life assurance cover. You must be able to case manage payments from life assurance, conduct annual review of all company rewards, manage year-round cycle to work applications, create and provide monthly management information report, and help with bonus participation and payment letters.

You will most likely be the lone expert, so while being a member of the HR & payroll team, you must be confident with relying on your own judgement and on others relying on that judgement, dealing with all levels of the organisation, and able to explain technical matters to non-experts clearly.
