An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Pension's firms as a Technical Specialist. You will be supporting the Technical Manager and providing guidance to clients and colleagues relating to scheme rules and legislation.
You must have previous pension's administration experience of Defined Benefit (DB) schemes, knowledge of Local Government Pension Schemes would be very advantageous.
Your duties will include liaising with Actuaries and Benefit Consultants on legislative matters and you will act as a focal point for all technical queries; providing expert advice and guidance. You will be ensuring compliance with scheme rules, industry regulations and pension's legislation.
You will be contributing to the design and development of new approaches and solutions, as well as training seminars and programmes to scheme members, pension’s administration staff or employers' staff as required.
This is a varied, diverse role where you will be involved with all things technical. It will suit someone with strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills and a desire to improve standards and develop new procedures and working practices. You must have good commercial financial awareness and a consultative approach to the management of change.
