A broad and challenging contract role (12 months fixed-term) working for this highly-regarded Pension's consultancy. This new role will sit within the Project Management team to support business growth and provide quality solutions to a wide range of administration clients.

Currently the largest active area for the Project Management team is covering new business opportunities for DB and DC schemes, as well as a Master Trust scheme. You will assist with producing tender documents, including providing high level project documents such as project plans and present project management approach to prospective clients. Once the business has been won, you will be responsible for the successful completion of the project and ensuring all the work streams are completed by the agreed go live date.

In addition to new business activity, you will support existing clients by providing project management for ad hoc projects that may arise. Examples of such projects are DC Switches, Calculation basis changes or Communications projects.

You could also be involved in the management of projects for business change projects and the development of new systems/enhancement of existing systems. Business change projects can include the acquisition and integration of new business units. System projects will involve liaising directly with third party system developers to ensure the project remains on track.

You will have excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to work in a multi-disciplined team. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills and an ability to respond to changing priorities is essential. Being able to take ownership and responsibility of your work will be key, as will be having a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Prince 2 or similar would be ideal.

The role could be based at one of the numerous UK offices with home working an option. Occasional travel will be required. Flexible working arrangements for this role will be considered.
