Pension Team Leaders, we have a super new in-house pension department role, a newly created position within a newly created in-house pension department (with outsourced administration). You MUST HAVE LOCAL GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE.
You will support the Pensions Manager in the day-to-day operation of the Retained Pension Employer Service, which includes monitoring the pension administrator’s performance against set criteria for this organisation. You will manage and lead the Pension Advisors in a range of administrative duties in relation to the pension employer function, including the provision and checking of information to support the accurate maintenance of scheme member records, and to monitor and assist employers in fulfilling their obligations to the pension fund.
You will liaise with advisors and external administration providers, attend meetings, keep up to date on pension's legislation and compliance, completing pension's-related statutory returns and surveys as required, maintain scheme documentation including the pension fund website and internal pension's information. You will train and coach, encourage and empower your team of internal pension advisors, deal with inquiries and any complaints to happy resolution.
You will be someone with LOCAL GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE who has worked in a similar role, managing a small team of Pension Administrators, and offering support to more senior management as needed. If you have deputised as a Team Leader and know you can do this role and have done it on occasion, please feel free to apply. Our client is keen to find the right person for the role, alongside the person with the right skills for the role, so if you have LOCAL GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE, are hard-working, enthusiastic, team orientated, can forge strong relationships both internally and externally to get the best out of people, but at the same time can work on your own initiative… you can do this role! Please do apply.
