If you are progressing well with your accountancy qualification (or similar) and are now seeking a new challenge to utilise these skills within the UK pension's Industry then we may have the role for you!
With previous accounting, finance and/or economics experience you will be working alongside more senior pensions professionals to analyse company accounts and financial statements, identify key trends, strengths and weaknesses. This will require you to use your technical skills to collect and collate the relevant data and analyse them in a time efficient manner. You will prepare the required summaries and charts, and draft the subsequent reports which will include relevant explanations and commentary.
You will also be liaising with clients and other advisers regarding data and information requests, as well as follow up queries seeking further clarifications.
In this varied role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to marketing and new business related activities, as well as be supported by junior resources regarding the more analytic aspects of the work, providing guidance and managing the delegation of work.
Whilst no previous formal prior experience relating to the employer covenant is required (although any experience would be advantageous), you will be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of the UK pension's industry and have experience working in a client focused environment.
