A wonderful opportunity for an Actuary (Full or Part Qualified) with good experience of working in a pensions environment. You will have a strong understanding of pension fund assets and liabilities alongside excellent technical actuarial skills and extensive knowledge of UK pension's legislation.
This broad and interesting role will involve helping to develop internal models and reporting in scheme funding, investment and other areas. You will be providing support to the Trustee Services team with regards to scheme funding matters, including presenting communications on behalf of the Trustee with senior decision-makers.
Experience and understanding of a range of pension scheme investment approaches including hedging, LDI, leverage and collateral, illiquid investments would be highly beneficial. We are looking for someone with strong written and oral presentation skills. Excellent personal organisation and project management skills is essential. You must have the ability to travel occasionally (within UK), including occasional overnight stays.
