Pensions Assistant Manager, In-house Scheme

Your new role (offering 2 days' work from home option!) will entail ensuring that the pensions' administration function, both in-house and outsourced, provides a high quality and efficient service to the pension scheme members, the Trustees, the Governance Committee and the Company. You will manage the in-house pension's team (of 4) and the relationship with the outsourced administrators. You will work with the UK Pensions Manager, the Trustee, the Governance Committee, external advisers and multiple functions within the business and demonstrate a real passion for the business and function, ensuring best practice and applying good judgement about opportunities to really drive change and add value.

You will take ownership of the Pensions Administration function ensuring a high quality and efficient service to members. There is a small in-house function with both the Trust-based arrangement (c.8000 members) and the contract-based arrangement (c.12000 members) outsourced. There are several other small outsourced pension arrangements also managed by your new team in the Pensions department.

You will be multi-talented and able to forge relationships, team manage and project manage, dealing with everything from training to project management, and be a go to person for legal/technical advice/guidance.
