Are you a junior/intermediate or even senior occupational pensions specialist who would like to work as the second person in pensions and provide support to the Pensions Manager for a small in-house scheme? If yes, this role will be just perfect for you, and our client is also very happy with the post-holder working one day from home per week. As the Pensions Advisor, you will be based in the Group Finance department, but will also be required to visit their other London office regularly.
You will be primarily responsible for providing an efficient service to members of the company’s defined contribution (DC) pension schemes. Our client currently operates two DC pension schemes and also offers a separate auto-enrolment pension arrangement (NEST). You will manage the relationship with each of the DC scheme’s outsourced providers and will respond to questions raised by Scheme members.
You will also have responsibility for ensuring that all pension information held on the Company’s intranet, benefits portal and on the various pension scheme websites is constantly updated, manage the annual benefit statement projects for each pension scheme and help the Pensions Manager in the preparation and management of regular internal communications to DC Scheme members, such as each Scheme’s Annual Report. You will also assist the Pensions Manager and Secretary to the Trustees in organising and attending meetings of the Trustees and their various committees.
Perhaps you are someone who is currently studying or wants to study, or simply someone who wants to take on wider responsibilities within their pension's administration role, and spend more time helping members and seeing the real difference their role makes.
