Are you a senior pensions administrator / pensions officer / team leader or even deputy within occupational pensions seeking a long-term contract and available in the next month or two for a 12-month contract? YES!? Then how would you like to join a friendly in-house pensions team (outsourced administration function), in a super contract where you don’t just get to oversee two other members of the department, but to attend trustee meetings, work on major projects, issue communications and even attend provider and site visits/get involved in member presentations! How often do you get the opportunity to undertake a contract with a client that also wants to invest in your personal development and enable you to learn new areas of pensions? And as if all this was not enough, our client will consider contractors wanting just a 4-day week. They offer flexible working and a very attractive benefit package/bonus scheme.
You will support the Head of Pensions and Pensions Manager in relation to the administrative and operational matters of the company Pension Schemes. You will be able to provide guidance and answer queries from employees of the company in relation to their Pension Provision. You will have previous staff management skills, and be used to forging mutually beneficial relationships with external stakeholders. You may not yet have attended trustee meetings, but you will now attend within this contract, and should the need arise, attend in the normal minute-taker's absence. You will be joining just at decision time for a major project, and hopefully enjoy assisting with this, alongside other annual pension's events and activities.
You don’t need to tick every box on the job description as some you can learn within the role, but it is vital you are a team player, and people person who enjoys communicating, and really wants to contribute and make a difference during the time you are working on this contract, and who knows what the future might hold beyond this.
