As the new Pensions & Benefits Advisor you will be reporting to the Head of Payroll and Pensions. You will be responsible for management and administration of all pension and benefit schemes operated by our client. Pension schemes include two closed DB schemes and two DC schemes. You will also hold responsibility for management of the current Group Personal Pension, and manage all auto-enrolment duties via the provider.
We hope you enjoy communications? Because another part of your role will be the effective communication of pension benefits, including benefits statements, newsletters and email campaigns. Your communications will range to relationship building also. You will liaise with the appointed advisors and providers of all pensions and benefits schemes and enhance relationships ensuring SLA’s are adhered to and challenge any failures.
You will collaborate with the Head of Payroll & Pensions with regard to the annual renewal of the company’s risk benefits and administration of these schemes including company PMI's. You will also get to review and monitor best practice developments in benefits strategy with a view to enhancing choice and flexibility. Another exciting aspect to this role. From time you will help implement any other benefit schemes that the company wishes to introduce.
Finally you will enjoy the technical, compliance and legislative elements of pensions. You will ensure best practice governance and keep abreast of ever-changing pension and benefits legislation and its effects on these schemes operated by your employer.
