Your purpose will be service delivery of the outsourced UK Pension Plans, where you will drive performance against agreed Key Performance Indicators and Service Performance Management Levels.
Partnering with your benefit peers and the reward centre of excellence to help and contribute with strategic decision-making, and lead in the proactive implementation of operational solutions to support any change whether strategic, legislative or both! In this regard you will attend trustee meetings and draft and present papers on such operational issues within your remit.
You will ensure all types of communications (paper, online, face to face) are accurate. You will also need to be able to write formal papers and/or recommendations at various times, and manage the benefit division spend within budget. There will be ad hoc projects and ongoing improvement initiatives, a host of areas within this role to provide a rewarding career going forward with this super company, and highly professional pensions and benefits department.
To be successful in this role you will need a strong background in occupational pensions, which does not necessarily have to be in-house, either working within a third party administration provider or as a client manager for a consultancy could also provide you will ideal skills to manage similar external parties, as you jump over the other side of the fence in this role to monitor their service provision. You will need to possess a strong technical knowledge to provide this support when needed, and manage risk and ensure compliance on an ongoing basis.
