You will have extensive pensions experience, ideally with 10+ years’ technical knowledge and a strong understanding of trustee governance, client management and the wider pensions landscape. You’ll be someone who is ready to take ownership of complex and high-profile client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser while leading the delivery of a high-quality, commercially focused service. You will have the confidence to lead teams, mentor and develop colleagues, manage multiple priorities and provide clear direction across complex projects and client matters. Commercially aware and naturally relationship-focused, you’ll understand your clients, their key drivers and how to identify opportunities to add genuine value, improve services and develop long-term partnerships. You will be comfortable working with trustees, advisers, senior stakeholders and industry contacts, influencing effectively and making sound decisions when faced with challenging or complex situations. Alongside overseeing governance, compliance, communications, investments, budgets, risk and key trustee processes, you’ll play an important role in new business activity and the continued development of the business. Professional qualifications such as APMI or FPMI would be desirable, but above all, you’ll bring passion, sound judgement, leadership and the desire to make a real difference to both your clients and the people around you.
