We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to support the delivery of a complex and evolving business plan within a pensions environment. This is a senior role within the Management Team, responsible for overseeing a portfolio of projects and change initiatives, ensuring strong governance, effective reporting and successful delivery across the organisation.

You will provide high-quality management information to senior leadership, enabling effective control of business priorities, resources and risk. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will establish clear project mandates, budgets and governance structures, ensuring all initiatives are delivered to agreed scope, time, cost and quality standards.

The focus of the role is the delivery of projects within a pensions administration environment. You will bring a strong understanding of pensions operations, regulatory requirements and scheme governance, ensuring that change initiatives support compliance, operational efficiency and positive member outcomes.

You will lead and coordinate multiple cross-functional project teams, advisers and third parties, securing the right resources and skills to deliver successful outcomes. The role requires robust risk management, financial oversight and performance reporting, alongside the development and maintenance of best-practice project frameworks, templates and controls.

You will bring:
• A recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile or equivalent).
• At least 10 years’ experience delivering projects, including the management of multiple concurrent projects and change initiatives.
• Demonstrable experience managing and reporting on project programmes at a senior level.
• Experience working within a pensions administration environment, ideally supported by relevant pensions-related qualifications.
• Significant experience collaborating with multiple teams across departments and divisions, as well as external consultants, suppliers and third parties.
• Strong financial management experience, including budget oversight, forecasting and reporting.
• Advanced IT skills, with strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as MS Project and SharePoint.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised, strategic and delivery-focused project professional with deep pensions experience, strong stakeholder management capability and a commitment to high standards of governance and operational excellence.
