Pensions Governance Consultant

Play a key role in shaping pension scheme governance at a time of industry transformation.
Are you an experienced consultant with a solid track record of advising Trustee Boards and delivering specialist governance support? Or perhaps your background lies in in-house pensions, administration, actuarial, or investments—and you’re ready to apply your knowledge to the challenges facing trustees today?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected, independent pensions management firm where you’ll take ownership of delivering high-quality governance services to a portfolio of clients. You’ll also collaborate on key projects such as de-risking exercises, provider reviews, and benefit rectification programmes.

What you’ll be doing:
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser to Trustee Boards.
Leading and contributing to strategic governance projects across a range of pension schemes.
Delivering clear, insightful written reports and advice, and attending face-to-face client meetings.
Responding to client queries and providing regular, proactive updates and reporting.

What you’ll bring:
Proven experience in pensions consultancy or a related area, with strong knowledge of trustee governance challenges.
Exceptional communication and client management skills.
Strong project management abilities and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Confidence in presenting, reporting, and engaging at board level.
