A fantastic opportunity for a pensions technical specialist to join this well-regarded pension firm in London. You will have strong DB and DC / Master Trust knowledge with proven experience of dealing with complex technical queries. This is an interesting role within this in-house technical team. With a focus on both business as usual work and more specific tasks this is a great opportunity to progress your pensions career.
Your responsibilities will be varied and will include analysing new (and changes to existing) pensions legislation, regulations and guidance (covering both DB and DC) and advising of any potential impact. You will be researching technical queries (DB and DC) raised by internal and external stakeholders, identifying and gathering all relevant information, liaising with external advisers where appropriate and drafting responses.
You will take responsibility for regulatory Scheme Reporting, Annual Allowance Pension Savings Statements and the triennial Actuarial Valuation and Actuarial Funding Review.
Other duties will include assisting with the production and execution of formal scheme documents such as Trust Deed and Rules. You will be working with the Technical and Compliance Manager on all aspects of the Master Trust supervision and compliance as required, including the completion of the Master Trust Supervisory Return.
This is a hybrid role with a minimum or 2 days per week in the London office.
