You will be a Pensions Administrator with a solid grounding in occupational pensions now seeking to progress your career by joining this small friendly in-house Pensions team. You will contribute to the smooth running of the Pensions department through providing administration services and deal with all aspects of the administration of a number of defined benefit pension schemes, and the preparation and processing of five periodic pensioner payrolls (prior experience of payroll not essential, but previous pension's administration is required).
You will use your sound IT and numerical skills in checking day-to-day administration work and carrying out complex member calculations. You will have demonstrable pension's administration experience, up-to-date technical pension's knowledge, and be able to work to agreed deadlines. You will also demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work effectively both on your own initiative and as part of a team, and be committed to providing a high-level member service, when required reviewing and agreeing progress with the Deputy Pensions Manager.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to team meetings and participate in specific projects, for example Annual Benefit Statements to members, mortality screening exercises, etc. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals wishing to further their career.
