Pensions Administration Manager, In-house, Homeworking, 18-Month Contract

Working from home, this super long-term contract of 18 months as the Administration Manager, will be to manage the day-to-day operations of the Group’s UK defined benefit pension plan (8,000 pensioners and 6,000 deferreds), and the outsourced pension's administration for the Group’s other 5 UK defined benefit pension arrangements. At the same time you will also manage the day-to-day operations of the Group’s risk benefit arrangements, life assurance, incapacity and death in service pension provision.

To undertake this role it is essential to have UK pension's knowledge, and desirable experience within a DB and DC environment either in-house or at a third party provider with experience of Trustee meetings, member communications, risk benefits, investments, actuarial processes and pension administration systems.

Providing support to your manager you will help with pensions in relation to strategic pension and benefit projects. You will provide support and guidance to each of the Trustee Boards, membership of the DC governance committee with joint responsibility for making recommendations in relation to proposals for the DC arrangements offered by the company. Also assisting with the day-to-day management of the DC plan.

*Please note although home working there will still be the very occasional visits to main site and other group locations and adviser offices, as would be expected with a role at this level.
