A wonderful new permanent vacancy has arisen in this well-renowned Pensions Consultancy. As a Pensions Fund Account you will be responsible for preparing pension scheme Trustee Report & Accounts and reconciling investment transactions. You will prepare all the necessary working papers and financial statements whilst liaising with auditors and investment managers.

We are looking for someone with a proven accounting background gained within either an accounting practice or a third party pension’s provider. Experience should include a broad knowledge of accounting techniques including reconciliation, year-end processes, etc. Previous Pensions Fund Accounting (PFA) experience would be desirable although not essential, and you will ideally have successfully attained a recognised accountancy qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc. (although applicants deemed 'qualified by experience' will also be considered.

This opportunity has the option of being 100% homeworking, based in the Belfast office or a hybrid of the two so could suit a wide range of working preferences. If 100% home-based, a quarterly visit to the office would be expected. This employer has really embraced flexible working and would also consider applicants looking for a 4-day working week.
