NAPF, National Association of Pension Funds

Formed in 1923, the National Association of Pension Funds is the leading UK body providing representation and other services for those involved in designing, operating, advising and investing in all aspects of pensions and other retirement provision. NAPF’s aim is to be the leading voice of retirement provision through the workplace.
The NAPF are also the leading provider of pensions conferences, seminars and events, which help members keep up-to-date with the fast-moving world of pensions and promote the pensions debate.
The NAPF’s 1300 members include both large and small companies, multi-employer schemes, local authority and public sector bodies. Together they provide pensions for over 10 million current employees and 5 million people in retirement, and account for more than around £800 billion of pension fund assets. All scheme types are covered including defined benefit, defined contribution, group personal pensions and statutory schemes such as those in local government.
The NAPF is one of the most influential industry bodies in pensions.
Membership of the NAPF is open to companies, firms, local authorities and other organisations which provide pensions for their employees, industry-wide pension schemes and the trustee bodies associated with such pension funds.
The NAPF offer a variety of publications, events and resources. These include networking opportunities with fellow members, training, seminars, conferences (including discounted entry to these) each year, Policywatch – a fortnightly guide to the most important developments in the industry and Newsletters (which give information on current work by the NAPF).
