Your role will be varied including Analysis and Design work, programming, testing and implementation.
Your key responsibilities will involve producing and reviewing business and technical specifications. Developing high-quality and efficient software. Developing test plans and testing relevant components. Actively contributing to the continued improvement of our Client’s products, procedures and standards.
You will have first rate programming skills and be proficient in database design. Experience of large-scale commercial applications software development is essential. Ideally you will have object-oriented analysis and design experience and programming knowledge in Java, Swing and J2EE. Strong SQL skills and development of web-based applications is highly desirable. The use of this technology within financial services (ideally pensions or insurance) and related industries would be most advantageous.
