| Summary: | Our client is a privately owned specialist Pension Administration Company providing administration secretarial and consultancy services for large corporate clients' occupational pension schemes. |
| Description: | Your role: To ensure that pension schemes operate effectively on a day-to-day basis. As well as daily administration of a pension scheme there is also monthly and yearly work. E.g. annual pension increases, benefit statements. Scheme Types: Various depending on client. Scheme Sizes (Banding): All sizes from small to very large. All industry sectors. Scheme Members: Contributions: - AVC's, Additional Voluntary Contributions
- FSAVC's, Free Standing Additional Voluntary Contributions
- Stakeholder Contributions
Main Duties: - Provide administration service to scheme members
- Manual calculations
- Computerised calculations
- Inland Revenue Maximum Limits calculations
- Calculation and production of annual pension statements
- Checking all benefit entitlements and options
- Joiners, Leavers, Retirements, Deaths, Refunds, Transfers, Surrenders
- Investigate & answer member queries
- Update pension scheme member records
- Maintain output and control work volumes
- Monitor own standards and achieve
- Report any complaints
- Suggest changes for improvement e.g. streamline systems
- Highlight problems that impact on performance
Technical: - Ensure/Strive to be technically competent
- Understand scheme rules, regulations and current pensions legislation
- Continue to grow knowledge of current legislation, monitor legislative changes and impact on work
Clients: - Achieve administration targets
- Monitor SLA's (Service Level Agreements)
- Monitor workloads for client billing
