This is an excellent opportunity and a rare chance for a Technical Specialist to join this multi award-winning in-house pensions team in a newly created position. Dedicated to providing clients and members with a first-rate service, you will gain in-depth understanding of client benefit structures.
You will be the Deputy to the Technical Manager, working closely on all aspects of technical support, managing technical matters for all clients and ensuring appropriate advice and information are provided to the staff, employers and clients.
You will manage compliance with pension and pension taxation legislation, as well as working with advisers on rule changes and valuation results alongside providing proactive input into the Technical Team planning, both in the short and longer term, with a clear focus on the clients existing Corporate Objectives.
You will be accountable for ensuring that all new or updated communications material complies with the house style and is technically correct alongside ensuring technical briefings appropriate to their roles are provided to staff.
In addition you will liaise with the Technical Manager and the Head of Benefits to monitor compliance reports, reporting back to Senior Management, Board and Audit Committee as appropriate.
A further interesting aspect of the role will be to develop and deliver the current annual training programme for the administration and administration support teams after liaison with the various internal stakeholders.
