Our client will shortly be transferring their pension scheme members' hard copy information onto a new document imaging system, via a third party. As part of this process the first stage is to take each member's hard copy pension scheme information and divide this into pre-defined categories, labelling each document clearly for scanning. To do this the Pensions Documentation Indexing Specialist will require a basic understanding of what each document within the member's file is. It is essential that applicants have an understanding of occupational pension scheme administration and all documents a provider must and will have retained on file for their members.

Function/Objective:
To ensure that pension schemes operate effectively on a day-to-day basis. As well as daily administration of a pension scheme there may also be monthly and yearly work. E.g. annual pension increases, benefit statements.
Reporting To: Pensions Administration Manager
Liaison With: All other employees within pensions administration division
Scheme Types: Various dependant on client. E.g. Defined Benefit / Defined Contribution / Hybrid
Scheme Size (Banding): All sizes from small to very large. All industry sectors.
